Sustainable Fashion Vibes – Shokay Dress

There are tons of goals I have regarding Lula Vibes. But I believe one I’m aiming to develop on a regular basis is share with you brands that have a strong social responsibility drive.

I admire brands that built on that vision since day 1, and don’t loose track of their main goal in these competitive environment.  I know it is easy to say and hard to do, but this shouldn’t be an option anymore. There are so many ways to contribute to make the world green again.

And one of my ways to help is this, using my platform to make a difference: My Green Vibes Series! Giving you a stylish but greener or socially responsible alternative. My personal discoveries, reviews and research.

SHOKAY

I found Shokay dress by accident in my friend’s showroom. I was attracted by the design, feel and the great fitting of this dress, when I discovered they support Tibetan communities to achieve a sustainable economic growth. They produce Shokay’s main resource: yak down (a rare and natural resource) but are also involved in other aspects of the supply chain such as Chongmings island knitters. Shokay ensures that fiber trade is conducted in a fair and transparent way and deliver a premium quality piece.

Tengo muchos objetivos este año, pero uno que he querido desarrollar de manera regular es compartirles marcas que tengan un enfoque fuerte en responsabilidad social

Admiro a las marcas que han construido todo sobre esa visión desde el día 1 y no perdieron su objetivo en el proceso, sobretodo en un entorno tan competitivo. Sé que es más fácil decirlo que hacerlo pero esto ya no debería de ser una opción. Hay tantas formas de contribuir para regresarle al mundo su color verde.

Encontré la marca Shokay por accidente en el showroom de mi amiga. Me atrajo su diseño y lo bien que se amolda al cuerpo. Pero después descubrí que apoyan a las comunidades tibetanas para lograr un crecimiento económico sostenible. Las comunidades producen la materia prima que usa Shokay: (una fibra natural y única) pero también están involucrados en otros aspectos de la cadena de suministro como los tejedores de la isla Chongmings.

Shokay se asegura que haya un comercio justo y transparente de esta fibra y entregan a sus clientes un producto premium.
