Normally, transitions from one season to another are fairly difficult. Changing your entire wardrobe is not the best idea for your pocket, but also it’s hard to reset and get inspiration for your new fall outfits.
I say this because I live it myself. I personally love summer, sunny warm days, colorful and fresh looks… so is hard for me to let go and start mastering the art of layering. And let me tell you in Mexico it’s a must considering the sunny – rainy – windy all in one day.
That being said, I’ll ALWAYS check the weather before I get ready (might sound obvious but who hasn’t been caught up by a totally different weather from what you were assuming?). Then I’ll just play with summer dresses or tops and add light layers. A suede jacket works great for this, not so thick and not so thin. The floral top is my summer connection and a fedora hat calls for Welcome fall!

Normalmente las transiciones de una temporada a otra son algo complicadas. Cambiar el closet por completo no es la mejor opción para la cartera, pero por otro lado es difícil resetar el mood del que venimos y tomar inspiración para armar nuevos outfits para el otoño.
Se los cuento porque a mi me pasa. Me encanta el verano, sus días soleados y calientes y los looks frescos y coloridos…. así que me cuestra trabajo dejarlo ir y comenzar a dominar el arte de incorporar capas. Y es que en México es un must con los días todo en uno – sol, lluvia, aire-
Sabiendo lo anterior, SIEMPRE checo el clima antes de escoger mi outfit (suena obvio, pero a quien no le ha pasado vestirse de una forma totalmente diferente al clima de ese día?). Luego mezclo piezas de verano como vestidos o tops y les agrego capas dependiendo lo loco del dia. Una chamarra de gamuza funciona perfecto porque no es tan gruesa ni tan delgada. El top con flores es mi conexión aún con el verano pero agregando el sombrero definitivamente digo “Venga el otoño!”
Cuéntenme, su closet ya grita otoño? ó como yo se aferran a su vestido veraniego favorito?

通常，换季时期都不甚如人意。一方面，清空整个衣橱再添置新衣并不是经济实惠的选择。另一方面，很难重置思路搭配秋装。
这是我的亲身体验。我个人偏爱温暖的夏季，明媚的阳光，鲜活的配色。眼看要放弃这些，开始打点秋装外套，想想就很痛苦。更不用说，在天气阴晴不定的墨西哥，要提前做好准备在一天之内经历阳光和风雨。
也就是说，我必须每时每刻查看天气预报。（也许多此一举，但谁没被天气预报坑过几次呢？）然后我会选择夏装裙子或上衣搭浅色外套，比如小山羊皮夹克，厚薄正合适。上衣的花纹是对夏季的执念，而软呢帽配合秋季的脚步。
那么你呢？是对秋装跃跃欲试？还是像我一样执着于夏季搭配念念不舍？
尽管蝉鸣已逝，莲香渐消，但愿盛夏的活力源源不断！
