We all have that dress we love but that is hard to wear often. I bought this sequin dress for my birthday party a couple of years ago, and to be honest, I haven’t used it as often as I would like to although it’s one of my favorites.
I got inspired from the latest runway shows which featured light dresses with lace and sheer layers on top and decided to do the same by adding a solid color blouse with a lovely bottom flare and make the dress look like a skirt instead. Also, I replaced my strappy sandals – normally my most obvious choice – for sock boots which are the latest fashion trend.
I have a special affection for these earrings. I got them from a super talented designer and friend Kikizhu. They mean “Listen and Speak” in Chinese. Do you like them?

Todas tenemos ese vestido que amamos pero que no usamos tan seguido como quisieramos y este vestido de lentejuelas es mi caso. Lo compré hace un par de años para la fiesta de mi cumpleaños y aunque es de mis favoritos no encontraba las ocasiones para usarlo tan seguido.
Así que me inspiré en las últimas pasarelas de moda donde se mostró mucho encaje y telas transparentes sobre vestidos ligeros y decidí hacer lo mismo usando una blusa de color sólido encima del vestido para que se viera como falda. También decidí cambiar mis sandalias de tacón -que normalmente sería mi decisión más obvia – por unas botas calcetín que son la última tendencia.
Tengo un cariño muy especial con estos aretes. Los obtuve de mi amiga y talentosa diseñadora Kikizhu. Significan “Escucha y Habla” en Chino. Les gustan?

近期的T台秀流行亮色蕾丝裙配薄外套。从中，我受到了一些启发：将这条连衣裙当半身裙穿，上身搭配带有闪亮花边的实色衬衫，体现立体感。同时，用短靴代替平日穿的凉拖，顺应潮流。
这对耳环让我觉得与众不同。它们出自我的设计师朋友Kiki之手。这对耳环的名字叫“倾听和语言”。你们觉得它怎么样？
