Every year Valentine’s day is a very controversial topic, nevertheless I do believe many times we take love for granted.
Dedicating a day to give warm hugs, a nice homemade dinner or a big surprise has never killed someone and produced a lot of happiness instead.
For those looking for creative ideas, I made a list with 5 non traditional ways to celebrate. On the other hand if you are looking for a special gift I just discovered there are many nice offers, so I gathered my favorites (down below) hoping you’ll find what you are looking for.

5 Non Traditional Ways to Celebrate
1.- Unexpected Delivery. Include your friends and family in this idea. Make them encounter your significant other and deliver a surprise during the day. It could be a nice frame with your favorite photo, their favorite sweets, a homemade lunch, etc.
2.-The Romantic Ritual. Browse for an unconventional spot in your city where you would like to have a picture moment, a toast or a picnic. Why not make it your yearly ritual?
3.- A New Trial. Sign in for an activity you have never tried before. Cooking class, martini preparation, painting… you name it.
4.- Home surprise. We all have the garage that needs to be organized, a wall to be painted, or a space we want to redecorate. Plan your home makeover and amaze your partner.
5.- Time. There are activities we like as a couple, but we stopped doing them because we get caught by work, school, kids, etc. Clean up your agenda, order a pizza and dedicate the afternoon for a full attention chat (no phones allowed)

Cada año, el día del Amor y la Amistad es un tema controversial, considerado como algo comercial o innecesario. Yo por el contrario creo que muchas veces damos el amor por sentado, y no valoramos suficiente a los que tenemos alrededor. Tener un día dedicado para dar abrazos, preparar una cena especial o una gran sorpresa siempre va a generar más felicidad y a sumar más que restar.
Para aquellos que están buscando ideas creativas, hice una lista con 5 formas no tradicionales de festejar. 5 Formas No Tradicionales Para Festejar
1.- Entregas inesperadas. Incluye a tu familia y amigos en esta idea. Haz que se encuentren con tu pareja y le entreguen diferentes regalos a lo largo del día. Un portarretratos con su foto favorita, sus dulces preferidos ó un lunch hecho en casa.
2.-Un ritual romántico. Busca un spot no convencional en tu ciudad donde te gustaría tomarte una foto especial, hacer un brindis ó un picnic. Y por qué no volverlo un ritual para cada año?
3.- Nuevas aventuras. Inscríbanse a una actividad nueva para ambos: clases de cocina, cómo preparar martinis, clases de pintura… hay miles de opciones.
4.- Sorpresa en casa. Todos tenemos un garage que hay que organizar, una pared que pintar, ó un espacio que redecorar. Planea tu extreme makeover en tu casa mientras tu pareja no está y dale una gran sorpresa.
5.-Tiempo. Estoy segura que todos tenemos actividades que nos gusta hacer y que de alguna manera olvidamos por nuestra rutina diaria. Libera tu agenda, ordena una pizza y dedica una tarde entera para darle atención a tu pareja (no se admiten teléfonos)
